Hello! We are Team #14147, the High Voltage Couch Bananas, and we compete in STEM competitions through FIRST Tech Challenge, or FTC. We are in our first FTC competition season from Eagle, Idaho.
Guided by coaches, mentors, and other professionals, a team of up to 15 members, competes in a multi-stage competition. The goal of FIRST Tech Challenge is to develop future engineers, designers, and problem-solvers through an exciting educational challenge. Each team will have to compete in tournaments with a motorized robot on a 12 foot by 12 foot game field. Each season revolves around a single theme, that influences the game field, it’s obstacles, and your team’s robotic strategy. There is one presentation your team must give on it’s engineering notebook, and it’s contents. (For example: Outreach, Business Plan, Design sketches, Photos, etc.)
Our 2022-2023 Team consists of 5 members and 3 coaches. We range from 9th to 11th grade, and attend 5 different schools, but we all love learning robotics and STEM!
